Rolls-Royce Debuts Bespoke “Year of the Dragon” Collection for 2024

Rolls-Royce unveils Bespoke collection symbolizing the year 2024 or “Year of the Dragon” with dragon motifs appearing throughout the interiors and exteriors. The new collection is limited production with 3 Phantom Extended models and 1 Cullinan model.

This bespoke collection symbolizes the Year of the Dragon 2024, taking inspiration from the dragon symbolizing power, success and prosperity, and is produced in a limited run of 4 vehicles based on 3 Phantom Extended and 1 Cullinan. The dragon shape becomes an extremely modern work of art, reproduced throughout the interiors and exteriors.

To produce the Year of the Dragon Bespoke 2024 collection, Rolls-Royce artisans spent over 2 weeks working not including concept planning time. Multiple shades of red were used at four levels to create a complex 3D pattern and effects.

Phoenix red threading is used to embroider dragons on the headrests. Each embroidery includes 5449 stitches alone taking around 20 hours to complete. The black piano rear tables feature an inlaid circular zodiac symbol.

Most notably, the bespoke Starlight Headliner system created specifically for this collection also subtly features an imposing dragon motif. It took 3 months to design and features 677 fiber optics. Just completing the ceiling alone took over 20 hours.

Exteriors continue with a red side dragon motif and unique red accent lines completing the work symbolizing the Year of the Dragon. All aim to perfect the piece symbolizing 2024.
